PMI Seeks Research Funding Proposals
The call for proposals closes on 25 April 2012. Those advancing to the second round will be notified by July 2012. All grant recipients will be notified of awards up to US$50,000 by 1 November 2012. Funded projects begin on 1 January 2013.
PMI seeks proposals from scholars both within and outside the field of project management, including those from the fields of management, organizational psychology, sociology, education, linguistics and others.
Proposed research must have a direct application to any aspect of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) or its practice. In addition, PMI encourages proposals on research involving multidisciplinary teams of investigators or teams consisting of academics and practitioners, who bring new ways of thinking and related bodies of literature to the field.
Those interested can view research projects funded by PMI in the past. If you have any questions about this opportunity, please contact the PMI Research Coordinator. Back |
