PMI Bestows Its First PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP SM) Credentials
We are excited to announce that PMI has officially
awarded the PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMPSM) credentials
to the first class of PMI Risk Management Professionals. The PMI-RMP recognizes
individuals who identify and assess risk, while mitigating threats and
capitalizing on opportunities.
On 11 December, PMI notified the first group of
candidates who passed the PMI-RMP examination, and as of today there are 47
PMI-RMP credential holders.
New credential holders will be recognized at PMI
Global Congress – Asia Pacific 2009. There they will also have a chance to have
their photo taken with other new PMI-RMP credential holders in attendance. The
winners of the four regional drawings for the PMI-RMP examination incentive
were also chosen and notified.
To date, interest in the PMI-RMP has been substantial
and there continues to be several hundred candidates in the queue.
